Previous projects
The Swedish Institute: Through funding from the Swedish Institute, we carried out the seed project "Youth and Culture—Hand in Hand for the Future" in 2021-2022.
In the project, 200 young people from marginalized groups (orphans, former street children, and young people from the
Maasai community) were offered regular music and cultural training.
The project promoted positive development, strengthened the participants' identities, and gave them a voice in society.
The project was much appreciated by the participants and the local population.
Donors: The Swedish Institute and Slättens Ideella Hjälporganisation.
"Youth and Culture—Hand in Hand for the Future" (2021-2022)

The film is based on a true story of Dennis Kanini, a former street child, and his journey of resilience and hope.
His story is not just one of hardship but also a testament to the strength it takes to rise above betrayal and seek a brighter future, even in the darkest circumstances.
Donors: M-Tafsiri Africa, Filmvæksted Aarhus & Global Hope Rescue Rehabilitation Centre.

The documentary film: "Mbali na nyumbani, najihisi nyumbani - 2017.
Musik I Syd (Sweden): In collaboration with M-Tafsiri Africa. We carried out a pilot of the first Kultur Crew project in Sweden and Kenya in 2022-2023.
Kultur Crew is a method to strengthen young people's influence in cultural life by giving them the opportunity to organize cultural events in their local communities.
The project has the potential to play an important role in developing young leaders' skills and promoting cultural activity in Kenya.
Donor: Musik I Syd, M-Tafsiri Africa, and the Reagan Afro-Percussion Company.
